Obama Learning From Clinton?

Is this creative camera work or the President showing what he learned from our first black President?

Is the White House Trying to Change the Conversation?
07/14/09
Things just don’t seem to be going the President’s way these days. During his weekly radio/Youtube address, Obama said the stimulus wasn’t designed to work in four months. Instead it was supposed to work over two years. This is how it was supposed to work? People in Michigan are surprised to hear this since they thought the stimulus was going to help keep their unemployment rate below 15% (as it approaches 10% nationally). This coupled with his still high, but falling approval rating made for a bad few days for Obama. Let’s not even get into the metaphor that was the collapsing teleprompter.
I have to wonder if these events have something to do with the flurry of news coming out of the White House these days that is specifically changing the conversation away from the race to see whether Obama approval ratings or the economy can fall faster. Attorney General Eric Holder told Newsweek he is agonizing over prosecuting members of the Bush Administration, but is probably going to do it. This in spite of the President saying we need to look forward and not backward. A leak to the New York Times from a supposedly secret meeting of Leon Panetta and congressional leaders says Dick Cheney may have told the CIA to keep a program to kill Al Qaeda leaders a secret. And somehow it’s an outrage that 2,000 Taliban died and were thrown in a mass grave by people other than US Troops.
Throwing Bushies in jail. Cheney telling the CIA to keep secrets. Lots of Taliban prisoners dead. All of this was released in one weekend. The President has a lot on his plate and wants it all done. He knows if the focus in the media is on his stumbles and America’s economic angst then there is going to be even more pressure in Congress to avoid more deficits. With that would end his healthcare plan and probably cap and trade too. What a better way to buy a couple of weeks of breathing room than by saying “Remember how bad things were under Bush?”
