Many people bore you with long paragraphs explaining their biography. I’m not going to do that.
Instead, here’s a photo essay.
On September 22, 1975, I was born in Aurora to obviously patriotic parents.

Happier days in 1986 before a coach insisted upon telling me that I’d never play in the majors.

Working at McDonald’s in Aurora at age 14.

Freshman year at Aurora Christian. Can you believe I thought my hair looked good when I left the house that morning?

Looking much better on graduation day (with little sister, Emily).

Beginning of my radio career at WIUM-FM while a student at Western Illinois University. During this time I also worked at WBYS-FM in Canton, IL and campus station WHEN.

Internship in 1998 at WMAQ-AM. They hired me as a reporter 3 months later.

In 2000, I went to work at WLS-AM as a news reporter and anchor. I played firefighter with the Tinley Park Fire Department, played baseball with the Schaumburg Flyers, got a pedicure during Don & Roma’s show, and shaved my head to look like Brazilian soccer star Ronaldo. As you can tell, it was back-breaking work. During this time I also worked with Jay Marvin and Eileen Byrne.

I started working on a Master of Divinity degree at Moody Bible Institute in 2002. I should wrap it up in May 2010.

On May 29, 2004 Anna made me the most blessed man on the planet. Here we are in San Francisco in 2005.

On February 11, 2010 I became the host of my own show on AM 890 WLS. It airs weekday mornings from 9-11.
